Maximillian Robespierre Ideology

Max here was a great French leader of his time and played a huge role as the leader of the French Revolution. He spearheaded the operation and was the one to execute King Louis XIV, and brought about perhaps one of the greatest stories of freedom ever told. His ideology? People in power need to be held accountable for their actions. Great message wouldn't you say? I mean it was more difficult for the French to do that because it was a monarchy, rather than a government that claims to be to, of and for the people. So, it should supposedly not have to reach the point of beheading the head of the country to have them held accountable, right? So, it doesn't have to be so difficult to achieve a simple harmony between the people and the government. Robbie then went on to live the best time of his life. From fighting the rulers of the great nation for the rightful resources that the people deserve, and need to survive, to being the deputy of the National Assembly. Maximillian climbed the "corporate" ladder to then go on to be the 24th President of the National Convention and a member of the Committee of Public Safety. But as all good things, this too had to come to a sudden end and in his own words, "Those in power MUST be held accountable." Hypocrisy at its highest and public support lesser than it has ever been, Robbie was now being spearheaded to his own death and eventually was beheaded using the same guillotine that was used in the public execution of the French Royal Family.

So, what is the Maximillian Robespierre Ideology, one may ask. Maximillian's ideologies can be traced back to Rousseau's doctrines and thoughts but as you know or will find out when you look him up that clearly the power corrupted him and his own ideology had to be put in play to hold him accountable for his paranoid actions and his reign of terror, the official name of the time period.

Coming back to our modern day era of technological advancements and beautifully immaculate thoughts and VISIONARY political leaders, it seems obvious that the world learned NOTHING from the struggle of the French citizens and militant forces. We have political leaders who can't let go of power, and opposition leaders who play the "THOSE IN POWER MUST BE HELD RESPONSIBLE" card. Whether they mean it or it is simply a ploy, debatable. But the same principle is being abused today as it was centuries ago. Infact, this simple political comment can get me in trouble with the authorities of this country. But I don't really mind, it is what it is. Robbie boy gave up his life for us to learn something from yet we throw it in the garbage and paint him as the bad guy, which is true, but somehow never seem to locate the same qualities inside ourselves. That I think is the biggest issue that this world faces now. I can't speak to the existence of this in the past but today, the youth suffers with a severe lack of self awareness. So many times, the teenager would think that he/she isn't capable of the task and simply not try. On the other hand, the bravado syndrome is at an all time high right now. the most concerning thing is that these two groups have a huge percentage of overlap. The same teenager would think he's capable of a backflip while can't bring himself to ask out a pretty girl he likes. As a result, he'll end up losing the chance to date her AND break his neck failing to do a backflip. And that, I call the Maximillian Robespierre Ideology.
